Sakan is the first product of its kind in the UAE – specially-designed for UAE nationals who are recipients of the UAE Home Grant & Loan Programme. Sakan further assists such people to realize their dream of owning a home of their choice, while giving them greater comfort and peace of mind. The finance covers the balance of home building costs and is a transparent and cost-effective alternative to conventional personal loans.
Applicants must have either worked for a minimum of one year at a government or semi-government department or for a minimum of two years at a large private company. Finance of up to AED 350,000 is available subject to age, salary, and employment criteria. The advance payment is determined according to the applicant’s monthly obligations and the first installment is only due after 40 days and repayment terms can extend up to 108 months.
