Sukuk
Sukuk is an Islamic bond issued by DIB. Sukuk is similar to a conventional bond, the difference being that it is asset-backed and represents proportionate beneficial ownership in the underlying asset. The yield generated by the client’s lease of the asset forms the return on the sukuk. DIB has been an international leader in sukuk management, covering assets from aircraft to property.
